Of the students who graduate from DU, 88% do so in four years or fewer.
Financial assistance—or lack thereof—is a primary reason given by those students who leave prior to graduation. With your support, we are committed to helping more students access a DU education.
You are helping to close the average “need gap” between what the University is able to offer and what families can afford.
The current gap is $6,500 per student per year. Thanks to your philanthropy, we are able to welcome and support a more diverse and highly capable group of students.
DU is home to 48 remarkable and relevant centers & institutes, which rely on donor gifts to innovate and tackle today’s challenges.
Your support propels these centers and institutes to accomplish outstanding feats that inform both our teaching and our breadth of research around the globe.

Our faculty members and students conduct ground-breaking research on a daily basis. Our incredible faculty members have received a total of 140 highly prestigious awards for their research accomplishments. These faculty members are fueled by your giving to revolutionize how we view the past, engage with the present, and plan for the future.
In addition to University-wide support, the Crimson & Gold Society recognizes unit-specific giving and affinity in two of the University’s longest-standing academic colleges.
